The story so far.....
Shimla Spice Restaurant was the vision of 3 brothers who from a very early age wanted to make a name for the themselves in the culinary world.
Basharat, Mo and Mahmood began their quest in the highly competative London restaurant scene.
Having worked their way up from sink to Head chefs and resataurant managers, in 1998, they felt it was time to come "home" to their roots in Keighley and setup their first eatery.
Shimla Spice was an instant success with the locals and soon the restaurants glowing reputation for outstanding service, exciusite cuisine and an ambient atmosphere was spreading throughtout Yorkshire.
In October 2007 the brothers spread their gastronomic wings with the opening of their second branch in Shipley. The opening was attended by Chico of X factor fame.
Described as the "most beautiful restaurant in Yorkshire" the new restaurant seats over 200 in oppulent settings.
Already the new venture has been a huge success and has reinforced Shimla Spice as one of the most visited dining out establishments in the North of England..
